FAQ's
What kind of homes do we look for?
Our preferred homes range from 3 to 5 bedroom homes. We look for homes with an equal ratio of bedrooms to bathrooms & require our homes to have covered parking & be near public transportation hubs. Homes with recently updated or current kitchens & bathrooms are also necessary.
What maintenance do you cover?
Emerald City STR will cover any resident damage at no cost to the owner. For issues caused by age, deferred maintenance, or accidents, Emerald City STR will repair or oversee repairs at the owner's expense.
What kind of insurance coverage is provided?
There are two levels of insurance coverage on every leased home: The owner's homeowners insurance & our $1,000,000 commercial liability plan.
How long does the average resident stay?
Most residents stay for 1-2 months.
How do you come up with the price for my home?
Pricing takes into consideration recent comparables from both furnished & unfurnished homes, as well as market rates of other corporate housing providers.
Who furnishes the home?
Our in-house home design team will completely furnish your home & equip it with essentials for corporate stays like working desk areas, HDTVs, bed linens, bathroom & kitchen essentials.
Who pays for utilities?
We pay for municipal account utilities like water & garbage & the non-municipal utilities like electricity, gas, cable, & internet.
Does the guest bring pets?
Allowance for pets is a big plus but not necessary. Many of our homes allow pets.
Pets are limited to 2 per home & we have several dog breed restrictions. We don't allow American Pit bulls, Rottweilers, Akitas, Bull Mastiffs, Dobermans, German Shepherds, Boxers, Malamutes, Huskies, Dalmatians, & Chow Chows.
